United Roots Youth Artist Gouda Releases New Music Video for High School Senior Project

Gouda, a student in the United Roots beginning music program, wrote and recorded a series of songs at United Roots in 2010-2011. The beginning music program is part of an accredited high school class that takes place at United Roots in collaboration with Street Academy High School (through partnership with Bay Area Community Resources) and the class is taught by Music Director Clemente “DJ Twelvz” Pena. As part of his senior project Guoda decided to make a music video about the Death Penalty, and the video was filmed and edited as part of the class. The video is his personal reflection on the impact of the death penalty on our communities. The music video was made with an HD Camera, Green Screen and Final Cut Software, and edited by Franceyez Jackson at United Roots,
