United Roots Youth Music Video Crew Releases “The Real Oakland (Remix)” Music Video Featuring RhythM

United Roots launched a youth music video production team this Fall, and hired a youth film maker, Luis “L’nino” Montoya, to coordinate the production of music videos at United Roots. The first music video produced as part of this project is the “The Real Oakland (Remix)” song made by Mansa “RhythM” Evans. “The Real Oakland” project/campaign is something started by United Roots staff member Jhamel “J-Milli-on” Robinson, and the original music video had tremendous success. Rhythm remixed the original song and made his own version of the song from his perspective. The music video was filmed and edited by United Roots music video producer Luis “L’nino” Montoya. RhythM just finished his music album at United Roots, so stay tuned to find out more about how you can support this up and coming Oakland youth artist.
