United Roots is involved in many different kinds of community events each year. During 2010 United Roots organized a Turf Unity music showcase in Oakland, a 5 Elements Peace Battle, and a number of other events. United Roots youth and staff also helped organized the Get Fresh festival in Mosswood park.
