Keepin’ It Green

• So maybe we’re not eating enough nutritional food…. and we’re drinking stuff that’s bad for us……what can we do about?

• How about growing our own food…a lot of groups around Oakland are doing it now…it saves money….and the food is organic and much better for us than the food we can buy.

This short film was produced by youth that are students at KDOL. The film promotes green practices, and features youth organizations around the Bay Area that are doing green projects, like United Roots: Oakland’s Green Youth Arts & Media Center, Farm Fresh Choice, Oakland International High School Garden, a Refa 1 mural in East Oakland, and O.B.U.G.S. program for children.
